Today is my dads 50th birthday. He is getting so old!! I dont have any pictures yet of him but I will post some later. I just want to tell him how much I love him, and we are so lucky to still have him with us. We have all been through alot, but trials are made to make a family stronger right? That must mean that we just might be the strongest family out there. So I am going to list a few things about my dad...
-He is a very giving person, He loves loves loves to give more than to receive.
-He loves Christmas
-He can not get enough of his grandchildren, although you can see it sometimes in his face when they are all at his house and they are being their noisiest. FYI- There are six grandchildren under 6.
-He is a very hardworking person, growing up he always had 2 sometimes 3 jobs.
-He is spotless clean, I remember the push and pull dad!! He taught me how to vaccum it was called the "Push and Pull"
-He and my mom love to work in their Yard, you wont find them anywhere else in the summertime but outside.
-He wears shorts all year round. Even when its 5 below.
-He loves to shop, cook and clean.
-His favorite thing to buy is cologne. He goes through that stuff like you cant believe.
-He loves Nordstroms
-He makes friends with people at all the stores and hotels, and they give him deals.
-During Christmas time this year he and my mom got like 6 angels off the angel tree, and then they went to visit the elderly at the "Old Folks Home" and gave them a gift. One lady locked the door so my dad couldnt leave, she liked him so much.
-He stays pretty tan all year round.
-He has more grey hair than black now. Ha Ha
-He loves to take care of people, if they are sick, or just had surgery, whatever it might be, he will usually send a card or bake them something.
-He makes a mean batch of cookies, and they are gigantic. But oh so good. Well over your calorie limit for a day if you ate some.
-His vehicles are always spotless.
-He has a cat named "Sheba" she is so spoiled, he has her about 3 beds with soft pillows in them, and heating pads. All in his cloroxed garage, that cat knows not to make a mess. He also gives her wet and dry food, and mixes it just perfect for her. There is also a heater in the garage just for that cat.
- Everything he owns is well taken care of.
-Well that is my dad in a nut-shell. I want him to know how much I love him, And feel so happy to be able to have him as my dad. Like I said We have been through alot, but we are a strong family and I feel now that we can make it through just about anything.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY-O!!! Don't forget you are The BIG 50 Today!!

Hey Chels--Don't you mean "Happy Easter"
Im laughing right now Sara!! I honestly have a brain problem. I just don't look at stuff!!
Your dad is one of the nicest, funniest guys I know. I was so happy when he and your mom showed up to help me with the fundraiser at the fair...then after putting in a full days work he ended up donating some money and some other stuff he had left from the chicken Inn. He really is an amazing man. I'm glade to hear things are good for you and your family talk to you soon! Tyra
